Technical description

Outside walls
Compact logwall structure, fixed by dowels, with cellulose insulation in between logs.

Load-bearing dividing walls
Compact logwall structure, fixed by dowels, with cellulose insulation in between logs.

Non-bearing dividing walls (light partition walls)

  • Compact logwall structure, fixed by dowels, with cellulose insulation in between logs;
  • Heat-insulated stud framed walls, with two-sided plane or arched panelling and with plasterboard facing Either side of the wall may be covered in a different material. Plasterboard shall be used under all tiled wall surfaces;
  • Walls can be made of other materials: Ytong, stone, etc.

Insert ceiling:
In both cases it is possible to build tile-floored rooms (e.g. bathroom) also in the loft using dry floor construction.

  • Visible beam-floor:
    • Tongue and groove flooring;
    • vapour-proof foil;
    • dormant with heat and sound insulation;
    • usually strip-floor boarded.
  • Plank-framed beam floor
    • bottomed by panelling, vapour-proof foil;
    • with heat and sound insulation in between;
    • usually strip-floor boarded.

Roof structure
Roof construction of framed or prefabricated nail-boarded roof trusses.
Covering: commonly tile or bitumen shingle

  • Tiles (Any tile available on the domestic market can be utilised, most commonly Tondach, Creaton, Mediterranean, Bramac etc.)
    • Tiling batten, 5 x 3 cm;
    • Slating batten 5 x 2,5 cm;
    • Plastic roofing foil;
    • 150 mm rafter with 100 mm thick mineral wool insulation in between;
    • 50 mm rail with 50 mm mineral wool insulation in between;
    • vapour-proof foil;
    • panelling or plasterboard covering.
  • Bitumen shingle (commonly Villas)
    • bitumen felt plate min. 2 mm;
    • OSB-3 covering;
    • vapour-pass foil (porous-foil);
    • 150 mm rafter with 100 mm thick mineral wool insulation;
    • 50 mm rail with 50 mm mineral wool insulation in between;
    • vapour-proof foil;
    • panelling or plasterboard covering.

The ceiling of a single-store building
Same as insert ceiling, but with minimum 150 mm heat insulation, without upper strip-flooring.

Electrical installations
Shall conform to MSZ (Hungarian Standard) specification. Cable routing through the floor void and then through pre-drilled holes made during log production based on preliminary electricity plans. Connected to the height of accessories, consoles, light switches and sockets.

Sub-contractor's works All plumbing works - water services, wastewater disposal
and heating system shall conform to MSZ (Hungarian Standard) specification.
All the plumbing is routed through the floor voids with the exception of gas supplies, which are routed through, mounted or cover walls (e.g. bathroom) based on interior utility plans. According to applying legal regulations, gas pipes can be installed only openly. Except from wall heating, nearly all other types of interior utilities may be applied also for beamhouses.

Surface treatment
Wood surfaces may be treated with water-based UV-proof coloured topcoat, beeswax, linseed or other bio-oils.

Shut-off devices
We offer final surface-treated shut-off devices of an excellent quality, provided by our certified domestic supplier
finger-jointed or not, from "borovi" Finnish northern pine, surface-treated with top coat according to Remmers colour pattern, with Roto-Centro hardware, with handle and with glass of k=1,1-1,4 W/m2K
Window ledge according to the needs: board or other: stone, plate, etc.
Rolling shutters, abat-vents, folding shutters (window shutters) may also be ordered.

Gutter
Any type available on the domestic market, usually LINDAB.

Chimney
Pre-fabricated modular chimney (e.g. Leier, Shiedel) or masonary chimney with steel insert liner.

Stairs
Non-standard staircases according to the individual needs - usually constructed from timber.
